The window of life

The window of life

So if the son makes you free, you are really free.”

John 8:36

I’m sitting on a chair, looking out the window, reading a book and the Bible. My view is beautiful. It’s full of trees and plants and it’s so peaceful. The room is filled with silence but I can see the wind blowing the leaves of the tree so swiftly. As I write my gratitude list, I’m thinking about the scripture above and I’m reflecting back at my life and I’m reminded of the storms and fires I’ve been through.

The room is filled with silence but I can see the wind blowing the leaves of the tree so swiftly. As I write my gratitude list, I’m thinking about the scripture above. Jesus says that I’m really free if he makes me free. I thank him for setting me free. I’m reflecting back at my life and I’m reminded that I’ve been set free from every storm and fire I’ve been through.

I’m sitting on a chair, looking out the window, reading a book and the Bible. My view is beautiful. When I look outside I no longer see the wind that turned into storms but now I see life. This is the window of life. It’s not the window but my heart. I’m seeing life through the lense of the truth that’s in my heart. I am set free. I see life not only in nature but in my heart too. I’ve been set free from all things that kept me in bondage and now I walk in the light of life.

This is the window of life; Jesus.
